Modeling Upgrades Structural and Reservoir Modeling Upgrades A new global interpretation-while-modeling workflow combines automated propagation of any coherent seismic event with SKUA® UVT Transform® to construct an intra-layer, fine-scale, paleo-stratigraphic model. The resulting paleo-space enables fine-scale stratigraphic feature interpretation, and the paleo-model can be directly used to construct a reservoir model. Major enhancements to SKUA to construct facies proportion maps and volumes, in order to constrain facies modeling. The geologist can draw facies maps in the paleo-space and define vertical deposition trends. It is also possible to interpolate facies deposition trends from wells in 3D, and edit where necessary before reinterpolating. A new macro-command facility in SKUA enables users to write their own macros. The macro support loops, conditions, data introspection using RESQML, and the PPDM data model. A simple user interface allows users to drag & drop commands from the session or object history, and define variables that will enable macros in other contexts.
