2D Multi-line Grid-based Tomography

The vast majority of available seismic data in many regions around the world is still 2D, and 2D data represents approximately 25% of new seismic acquisitions. 2D projects can contain up to hundreds of lines, requiring significant investment in human resources and data management.  As 2D lines can be very long, cluster-based computing is often required. 

GeoDepth™ now provides an efficient solution to these challenges, through support for a full multi-2D line workflow for 2D grid tomography.   Multi-line 2D tomography uses a similar workflow, user interface, and parameters to those used in 3D grid tomography.

An advanced multi-line capability enables work on a large number of lines (from a few dozen up to several hundred) with minimal user intervention. The solution supports both single 2D lines, and work in batch mode. Individual jobs are distributed over the cluster.
