SKUA-GOCAD offers a unique user-oriented API to enable geoscientists to create custom workflows and solutions (we call them Macros) and extend the application capabilities to solve specific challenges. This JavaScript API leverages SKUA-GOCAD’s integrated data platform and its rich data manipulation toolboxת and benefits from a user-friendly drag and drop based Macro builder interfaceץ

In this presentation we use this extensibility framework to build and run custom workflows for velocity modeling and time-depth conversion. These workflows streamline the process of velocity modeling, given input data and desired outcomes and QC criteria.  Automatic blind well testing is performed to assess the quality of velocity model calibration to well markers. Finally, the same framework is used to perform automatic uncertainty and sensitivity analysis to quantify the effect of parameter variations, such as interpolation methods and variogram ranges on the velocity model quality.
