Production Management

Combine production intelligence with subsurface knowledge, for more efficient well and reservoir performance

Field operations can be vastly improved by integrating a rich understanding of fluid flow through the entire production system and the subsurface with production data, under operational constraints. Emerson is developing intelligent solutions to help manage some of the key challenges in oil and gas production, such as well and field level production optimization, flood evaluation, well intervention prediction, and infill drilling optimization.

Hydraulic fracture models in Paradigm k can be oriented and heterogeneous, and include complex structures.
Paradigm k™ is a new, Cloud-based collaborative toolbox for Production and Reservoir Engineers for the design and management of well systems. The initial release is specifically designed and optimized for shale oil and shale gas resources. Future releases will be optimized for multi-well conventional reservoirs.

The technology provides unprecedented speed in reservoir and well simulation, and presents a holistic view of physical measurements and critical production performance metrics at the resolution of individual wells. Together with the integrated, well-centric collaboration platform Connect (powered by Exigo) asset teams will achieve an advanced degree of situational awareness for better decision-making. Paradigm k helps you detect production issues before they transpire and enables truly proactive production management at the speed of today’s oilfield operations.

Integrated rock, fluid and stress characterization shows how your reservoir changes over time

Reservoir Driven Production Risk Management (RD PRM) is a new combined software and services offering now available through a partnership between Dassault Systèmes and Emerson.   The initial offering will focus on optimizing completion strategies in unconventionals, and anticipating fault reactivation.  Additional industries, such as mining, geothermal, urban planning and defense, may also benefit from this solution at a later stage.
